UI Health Care's Joint Office for Compliance is seeking a <strong>Compliance Coordinator</strong> to assist with the UI Health Care Conflict of Interest program and UI Health Care policy database.<br><br><strong>Position Responsibilities<br><br></strong><strong><strong>Investigation, Remediation and Reporting of Complaints and Reviews<br><br></strong></strong><ul><li>Assist with identifying, reviewing, and maintaining current and archived policies in response to internal requests.</li><li>Assist with the initial review and documentation of potential conflicts of interest.<br><br><br></li></ul><strong><strong> Consultation, Risk Assessment and Interpretation, Research of Regulations<br><br></strong></strong><ul><li>Serve as an initial point of intake for compliance hotline and conflict of interest calls and emails to escalate issues as per SOP. </li><li>Assist with the preliminary review, organization, and tracking of compliance complaints, reviews, and follow‑up activities.</li><li>Assist with research into regulations related to our existing policies and guidelines.</li><li> Support CMS Open Payments by auditing activities by gathering, validating, and organizing data for compliance review.</li><li>Support the review of COI disclosures, including assembling materials and drafting components of management plans for supervisory review.</li><li>Assist with reviewing personal consulting agreements against COI standards for completeness and consistency.</li><li>Assist faculty and staff with completing annual COI disclosures, providing procedural guidance and follow‑up reminders as needed.</li><li>Track and follow up on Clinical Systematic Analysis action items to support timely completion.<br><br><br></li></ul><strong><strong>Management of External Standards Review Process<br><br></strong></strong><ul><li>Support internal and external standards review processes by coordinating materials, tracking feedback, and maintaining records.</li><li>Support other compliance staff as directed.<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Policy Development<br><br></strong><ul><li>Assist with the review, revision, and formatting of UI Health Care policies, guidelines, and protocols.</li><li>Assists with template formats, integrates, and manages policy information appearing on the UI Health Care policy database sites.<br><br><br></li></ul><strong><strong>Training and Educational Programs<br><br></strong></strong><ul><li>Assist with the development and maintenance of PolicyTech help guides and reference materials for staff use.</li><li>Support the preparation and delivery of PolicyTech and COI training sessions, as requested.</li><li>Assist with maintaining COI‑related web content to ensure accuracy and alignment with current policy.</li><li>Support policy database administration and department intranet maintenance, ensuring information is current and accessible<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Other IT Related Duties<br><br></strong><ul><li>Support policy database administration and department intranet maintenance, ensuring information is current and accessible<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Required<br><br></strong><ul><li>A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.</li><li>1-3 years of related experience</li><li>Demonstrated proficiency using MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel, including the ability to format tables, retrieve data viz queries and create presentations.</li><li>Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills</li><li>Experience developing training and education materials</li><li>Excellent organizational skills required. Must be flexible, have the ability to change priorities quickly and the capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.</li><li>Proven analytic, problem solving and organizational skills.
