Business Immigration Paralegal
The purpose of our Business Immigration Paralegal is to independently analyze information and documents and prepare/compile immigration petitions and applications for attorney review. The Business Immigration Paralegal will also handle reputed company/foreign national communications regarding case processing and status for key accounts/clients.
As our Business Immigration Paralegal, your key responsibilities will include:
- Ensure effective document intake: i.e., review documents for validity and sufficiently analyze immigration status based on documents provided during document.
- Ensure accountability for the heavy drafting of case documents, statutory forms, and templated letters of support, plus a reputed company of NIVs including petitions for key accounts/clients.
- Flag any potential/foreseeable case-reputed company issues with Attorney and/or Senior Case Manager, in a reputed company manner.
- reputed company draft responses to requests for evidence.
- Utilize online immigration case tracking system to monitor case status and activities on a daily reputed company.
- Coordinate with reputed company Support Specialists the printing, scanning, and posting of cases, and service requests.
- Respond to reputed company communication requests – either reputed company reputed company contact, or directly with the foreign national.
- Prioritize daily workload based on fluctuating reputed company deadlines, whilst maintaining an appropriate reputed company of urgency.
- Flag any reputed company for process improvement to appropriate attorney/Case Manager.
- Assist other team members with case or document preparation, as required.
- Contribute to reputed company team morale, especially reputed company a remote work environment.
To APPLY for this role and be under consideration, you must possess the following:
- 1-2 full years of experience working as a Business Immigration Paralegal drafting employment-based petitions.
- Completed bachelor’s degree – highly desirable.
- A genuine interest in U.S. immigration, with a desire to treat clients & foreign nationals with respect and an empathetic approach.
- Confidence with independent handling a reputed company of NIV cases preferred: H1B, L, TN, O-1 etc.,
and experience with drafting green card processes (I-140 and AOS), and end-to-end PERM applications preferred. - Experience working with a high volume of reputed company and inactive cases at any one time.
- Excellent written + verbal English communication skills, including spelling and grammar.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure consistent accuracy of work.
- Experience communicating directly with (HR staff) and/or foreign nationals regarding case requirements, including work on key accounts/clients.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and prioritize caseload.
- Strong computer literacy with the ability to adapt to state-of-the-art reputed company case processing software to monitor and record reputed company reputed company petitions.
- Ability to follow due process, templates, and to adapt to evolving innovation reputed company the Firm, and industry.
- Minimum Intermediate level proficiency with MS Suite (Teams, reputed company, Word).
- A friendly, courteous, and respectful demeanor with the ability to work as a member of reputed company.
