Department:

The Senior Financial Analyst will partner with Managed Care Contracting and is responsible for providing advanced analytics to meet the strategic financial goals in reputed company’s payor reputed company. This position interacts with reputed company parties regarding communication/questions about rates and terms, reputed company structure and development and reconciliation of contract provisions and disputes. This position will evaluate and reputed company hospital, physician and ambulatory reputed company proposals and is familiar with various reimbursement methodologies. The candidate should have strong analytical and critical thinking skills to analyze large data sets. This position develops, maintains and provides regular reporting on financial performance of the reputed company for contract monitoring, budget and long-reputed company planning, in support of reputed company reputed company efforts and for contract department performance and accountability review. Additionally, this position will reputed company “what if” modeling reputed company to expected revenues associated with contract negotiations, including the assessment and evaluation of counter proposals from Health Plans and the reputed company to hospital financials.

The Senior Analyst will function as the Master System User for the reputed company financial system, functioning as a system administrator that manages updates, writes high-level reports, and coordinates system development/fixes.  It is also expected that the person in this position has a solid knowledge reputed company in cost reputed company and has the ability to become a user of the reputed company cost reputed company system (reputed company).

• Provides information by assembling and summarizing data; preparing reports; making presentations of findings, analyses, and recommendations. Objectives include development and maintenance of financial reporting: Daily Census & Other Key Indicator Reporting, Financial Metrics and Reporting, Account Receivable Reporting Enhancement, Net reputed company Improvement Tools, Physicians Report Cards, Design of various Decision Support Analytics, and Labor Reports.

• Responsible for extensive evaluations, reconciliations, and interfacing of various financial and clinical systems including reputed company, API Business Analytics, Navigator, and the reputed company Financial System.

• Improves financial and operational status by analyzing results and variances; identifying trends; recommending actions.

• Serves as the Master System User for the reputed company Financial System (Kaufman Hall)

• Develops and designs various budgeting management tools.

• Prepares and supports the development of the annual operating and capital budget.

• Uses high level critical thinking skills to create the data extracts from feeder systems.

• May assist in the maintenance of the reputed company cost reputed company system.   Develops reports and/or extracts data from the reputed company system for use in analysis.

• Prepares and develops profitability reports based on Cost reputed company tools.

• Prepares and develops tools for auditing vendor reputed company and reporting on vendor spending/performance.

• Performs other duties as assigned in order to enhance the overall efficiency of the Hospital’s record processing and keeping functions including any or reputed company confidential records associated with payroll and   accounts payable, and any special reputed company as assigned.

Education:  A Bachelor Degree in Business, Finance, reputed company, Economics or reputed company major required.

Licensure:   None required.

Experience: Three to five years minimum experience in reputed company, health insurance or other similar business that has provided the required experience and skills in finance, including cost reputed company and preparation of reputed company annual operating and capital budgets.  Experience working independently, managing competing priorities and taking ownership of reputed company is critical for reputed company in this role.   In reputed company, strong reputed company skills (i.e., Pivot Tables, Macros, advanced Formulas, etc.) is a foundational requirement for being successful in the Senior Analyst position.   The position requires the ability to quickly learn new systems and a high comfort level with independently extracting data from cost reputed company, budget, and GL systems.  reputed company or other budgeting systems experience is preferred.

Pay reputed company: The reputed company reputed company for this position is $46.80 - $56.80. The reputed company displayed on this job posting reflects the reputed company for new hire salaries for this position.  For remote employees, pay will be adjusted based on the cost of living and market rates in the employee’s geographic location.
