Job Description
Combat Mission Systems (CMS), a business unit within BAE Systems Platforms & Services (P&S), has an opening for a detail-oriented and proactive Systems Support Specialist. The selected candidate will join our Systems and User Support team, playing a key role in supporting Supply Chain operations.
This position provides professional, technical, and analytical support, ensuring system functionality aligns with business needs. This role requires conducting research, comprehending business requirements, and adhering to internal policies and procedures. This ideal role requires a proactive and solution-oriented attitude with a strong commitment to continuous learning and process improvement. The candidate must be dependable and readily available to support users, troubleshoot system issues, and contribute to the ongoing system enhancements and upgrades.

- This role will be a fully remote position.
- The position is on a 9/80 schedule where you will have every other Friday off
- There may be <10% travel involved primarily for team meetings
- Pay Grade level 9
Key responsibilities:
- Provide Oracle ERP support, troubleshooting user issues and assisting with system enhancements and upgrades
- Support third-party applications integrated with Oracle ERP
- Utilize OBIEE for reporting, generating reports, and analyzing data to support business needs
- Assist Supply Chain with Oracle ERP-related issues and system functionality
- Collaborate with the Supplier Data Management Team to provide cross-functional support
- Develop and execute test scripts for system projects and enhancements
- Support project success by assisting in testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
- Generate and analyze reports to support business decisions
- Research and interpret system requirements, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency
- Serve as a liaison between IT and business users, ensuring clear communication and issue resolution
- Manage Oracle service tickets, ensuring timely follow-ups and resolutions
- Learn and master Oracle ERP functionality, working towards becoming a Subject Matter Expert (SME)
- Participate in Oracle ERP upgrades, learning new features and training end-users
- Support ad hoc projects as assigned by the Systems and User Support team

Required Skills and Education
- High School diploma/GED plus six (6+) years of relevant work experience OR an Associate’s Degree with four (4+) years experience OR a Bachelor’s Degree (in a relevant discipline) with two (2+) years experience
- Experience with Oracle ERP is preferred
- 2+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or systems support
- Strong time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in analyzing data and running reports
- Highly proficient in Excel (Dashboards, Spreadsheets, Analysis, Formulas, Data Manipulation, etc.)
- Persistence, Integrity, Confident, Results focused and ability to work with a team or cross functionally
- Professional self-starter and able to work effectively and independently
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with internal customers and suppliers
- Able to quickly assimilate new information, processes and tools with adaptability and flexibility
- Able to thrive in a high-stress and fast paced environment
