<h1>Social Media Operations & Creative Specialist</h1><p><strong>Department: </strong>Business Analytics</p><p><strong>Employment Type: </strong>Temporary</p><p><strong>Location: </strong>Remote - United States</p><p><strong>Reporting To: </strong>Michael Horan</p><p><strong>Compensation: </strong>$55,000 - $75,000 / year</p><br><br><h3>Description</h3><div>Group O is seeking a Social Media Operations & Creative Specialist for a temporary opportunity<strong> </strong>to coordinate, support, and bring programming priorities to life on social media. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of social media strategies, the entertainment marketplace (cable networks, premium programming, and sports packages), and the media landscape. The ideal candidate will work within a Social Operations Organization and will work closely with members of the Editorial Social vertical, including Sports & Entertainment Leads, Design Leads, Producers, the Paid Media Lead, and others on the team.</div><br><br><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><div><strong>Job functions include, but are not limited to:</strong></div><ul> <li>Builds flight-ready creative projects and operationalizes a creative prioritization strategy for ongoing tent pole initiatives</li> <li>Assists with in-house creative design efforts for social and partnership campaigns</li> <li>Be a self-starter with little or no direction, a can-do attitude, and a focused work ethic is required to thrive in our fast-paced environment, to bring vision and life to our projects</li> <li>Possess the ability to enjoy daily challenges and provide solutions</li> <li>Create content, very organized, repurposing with a creative attitude</li> <li>Project management for editorial work (collecting assets, working with programmers, giving, and asking for edits for design projects from our graphic designer, etc.)</li> <li>Proofreading, editing, and creatively rethinking projects with out-of-the-box thinking</li> <li>Must work well in a team environment</li> <li>Adhoc projects based on the needs of the business</li> </ul><br><br><h3>Job Qualifications</h3><div><strong>Requirements:</strong></div><ul> <li>4-5 years of marketing experience, preferably in the social media and digital space</li> <li>Microsoft Office Suite of products, Smartsheet, and proficiency in Excel</li> <li>Excellent project management skills with a focus on detail</li> <li>Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment</li> <li>Knowledge of social media metrics and trends</li> <li>Some knowledge of applying social metrics to content recommendations</li> </ul><div><strong>Education and/or Experience:</strong></div><ul> <li>Bachelor’s Degree and 4-5 years’ experience in marketing or related field</li> <li>Brand, Advertising, Digital, or agency experience a plus</li> </ul>
