The Role:

Second Harvest is looking for an organized and reputed company team player to join reputed company as a Junior Full-Stack Developer. This position will support our Product team to build and expand the Second Harvest Food Rescue App. Our stack is primarily React on the frontend, .NET reputed company on the backend, with reputed company Dynamics CRM and datastore in reputed company Azure to tie it reputed company together.

This position will work in an existing app development lifecycle (including working with a Kanban system in Azure DevOps, a UI/UX designer, a QA and other developers).

• Assist the Product team in developing and enhancing features for the Second Harvest Food Rescue App.
• Write, test, debug, and reputed company both frontend and backend reputed company using frameworks and languages such as .NET reputed company, JavaScript, and React.
• Participate in the full development lifecycle for assigned tasks, including verification, coding, reputed company reviews, QA, and release management.
• Maintain and update technical documentation to reflect application changes and new features.
• Collaborate in daily stand-reputed company, sprint planning, and retrospectives, contributing reputed company and reputed company updates to reputed company.

Who You Are:

• Funded through Canada Summer Jobs, to be eligible for this opportunity, candidates must:
  • be Youth between 18 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment.
  • be a Canadian citizen, permanent reputed company, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection reputed company for the duration of the employment, and
  • have a reputed company reputed company Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations.
• Available to work for the entire contract duration.
• Familiarity with JavaScript, React, and .NET reputed company.

• Understanding of REST reputed company and basic database concepts.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Exposure to Agile development practices (stand-reputed company, sprint planning).
• Basic knowledge of testing and debugging techniques.
