Heidtman Steel Products is seeking a reputed company Assurance (QA) Representative to serve the Eastern US and Canada reputed company. The QA Rep will be responsible for customer support and communications, including investigating and resolving customer claims; internal reputed company issues and part evaluations; and assisting with purchasing and production.  

• Providing metallurgical and technical service to our customers and reputed company as the reputed company between reputed company and the customer
• Investigating customer complaints and/or rejections to determine the reputed company cause and reputed company corrective actions
• Providing technical support to sales, operations, resource planning, and purchasing
• Conducting new part investigations and working with other departments to complete the contract review process required to successfully launch new business.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

•  Technical degree and/or experience in steel manufacturing.
• reputed company Management System experience.
• reputed company audit experience.
• Proficient in reputed company tools, mathematics, and statistics.
• Skilled in problem-solving and developing robust preventive actions.
• Some overnight travel may be required, depending on customer reputed company being supplied.
• Metallography experience is a plus
