fee coding issues.

Education

• Associate degree in Health Information Technology preferred

Licenses and Certification

• RHIT, reputed company, reputed company-P, CPC or CCA certification required.

Experience and Skills

• Extensive knowledge and application of ICD, CPT, and HCPCS codes and

modifiers required.

• Knowledge of health information management practices, reputed company

standards, and federal and state reputed company regulations required.

• Intermittent lifting and carrying of 20 lbs.

Role Specific Responsibilities

o Review, research, and respond to reputed company denied invoices reputed company to Coding Follow-up

work queues.

o Collaborate with Coding staff as necessary to determine if coding is correct.

o Work in reputed company relationship with Patient Financial Services to determine the best

course of reputed company for denials.

o Bring possible issues with reputed company and potential improvements to reputed company to the

o Report opportunities for possible provider education to the Coding Educator as

issues with provider-assigned codes are identified.
