In this role, you will be responsible for working closely with engineers and product management teams to document new features, update existing documentation in response to customer feedback, and contribute to our comprehensive knowledge base. What You'll Do

As a Technical Writer at arenaflex, your days will be filled with meaningful work that directly impacts customer success. Here's what you can expect:

• Documentation Strategy and Creation: Plan, design, write, and publish technical documentation for our Cloud Database Services, including critical customer journeys, conceptual explanations, and comprehensive guidelines that show customers how to conduct business effectively on our platform.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Management Specialists, engineers, UX researchers, and UI partners to identify critical user journeys and create information architectures that guide customers smoothly through their experiences.
• Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with fellow Cloud Database authors to continually improve documentation practices and deliver an exceptional customer experience across all touchpoints.
• Cross-Functional Partnership: Work with colleagues across departments to drive and prioritize technical writing initiatives, ensuring that documentation keeps pace with our rapid innovation cycles.
• Mentorship: Mentor and support other authors on the Cloud Databases team, sharing your expertise and helping develop the next generation of technical communication professionals.

Who We're Looking For

Minimum Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Technical Communication or equivalent practical experience that has prepared you for the complexities of technical documentation.
• At least 2 years of professional technical writing experience, where you have demonstrated your ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, user-friendly content.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with databases, SQL, NoSQL systems, and cloud products—understanding the technical environment you'll be documenting is invaluable.

Compensation and Benefits

The US base salary for this full-time position ranges from $26 to $35 per hour, plus eligibility for bonuses, equity, and our extensive benefits package.
