Position Overview

Are you a talented student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field? Depending on your assigned team, you may be involved in software development, business analysis, data analysis, or technical support for IT projects.

What You'll Do

As an IT Summer Student in Revenue Technology and Data Analytics, you will play a crucial role in supporting our mission to deliver technology solutions that drive business value. Your responsibilities will include:

• Business Analysis: Gather requirements for system improvements and new initiatives, collaborating with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical specifications.
• Software Development: Participate in the design, development, maintenance, enhancement, and support of software applications and infrastructure systems using modern technologies and agile methodologies.
• Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions. Create performance dashboards and service level agreements for various products and services.
• Technical Support: Provide technical assistance and support for IT systems, applications, and infrastructure, ensuring smooth operations and timely resolution of issues.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and product owners to deliver high-quality solutions on schedule.
• Innovation: Contribute fresh ideas and perspectives to improve processes, systems, and customer experiences across the organization.
• Learning: Actively engage in learning opportunities, mentorship programs, and professional development activities to enhance your technical and leadership skills.

What We're Looking For

Minimum Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, Engineering, or a related field
• Ability to work from our Atlanta, GA or Minneapolis St. Paul, MN office location (hybrid work arrangement with manager approval)
• Strong analytical, leadership, written, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to embrace diverse people, thinking, and working styles
• Commitment to prioritizing safety and security of self, others, and personal data
• Interest in solving complex problems and willing to invest the time and effort to overcome challenges and learn from mistakes
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Software Development Lifecycle, distributed computing, and/or computer hardware components or support
• Comfortable working in a business casual work attire environment
• Interest in working for arenaflex after graduation if a regular full-time employment offer is extended

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to process large amounts of data and information and concisely explain what can be learned from the data and how it can support decision-making
• Desire to learn leadership strategies and best practices in problem-solving and conflict resolution to enable innovation and progress on challenging issues
• Passion for working with distributed computing and technologies such as Mobile applications, Enterprise Web applications, APIs, Messaging, Databases, Big Data, or Artificial Intelligence
• Previous internship or project experience in software development, data analysis, or business analysis
• Knowledge of database concepts and SQL querying
• Understanding of version control systems and basic software engineering principles
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
