Position Overview

We are seeking a focused and motivated Entry-Level Data Entry Clerk to join our remote team at arenaflex. In this role, you will be responsible for continuously updating and maintaining our company's databases with precision and timeliness. You will serve as a crucial link between departments, collecting and organizing information from employees and customers to ensure our data remains current, accurate, and reflective of business developments.

Key Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity of our information systems. Your primary duties will include:

  • Data Entry & Management: Perform high-volume data entry tasks accurately and efficiently into our EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems and other databases. Ensure all information is entered in a timely manner to keep our business databases current with developments, updates, and transactions.
  • Information Collection: Liaise with and follow up with employees within the company as well as external customers to collect necessary information. Maintain professional communication while gathering data required for database updates.
  • Data Verification & Quality Control: Review and verify all data prior to entry to minimize errors. Identify and correct data entry errors promptly, and swiftly bring them to the attention of relevant parties where necessary.
  • Database Maintenance: Maintain data entry requirements by following established data program techniques and best practices. Ensure proper file management and organization of digital records.
  • Administrative Support: Provide entry-level administrative support to the data entry function. Complete clerical functions and various data entry tasks as assigned.
  • Application Processing: Perform data entry of new applications, ensuring all required fields are completed accurately. Process data entry of credits and other transaction types.
  • Documentation Preparation: Prepare information for data entry by organizing and formatting documents. Ensure all materials are ready for efficient processing.
  • Training & Development: Assist in training new data entry employees on computer systems and company procedures as needed.
  • Daily Audits: Perform daily audits of entered data and complete necessary corrections. Maintain quality assurance standards throughout all data entry operations.
  • Communication: Operate data entry devices to perform a variety of keypunching, data entry, and verification duties. Collaborate with dealers and external partners to ensure data entry accuracy.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role at arenaflex, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Post-secondary education in a related field is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Typing Skills: Strong typing skills with a minimum typing speed of 40-50 words per minute with high accuracy.
  • Technical Proficiency: Basic computer skills and familiarity with MS Office applications (Word, Excel). Experience with data entry software and EMR systems is advantageous.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies and errors in data.
  • Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication Skills: Good interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external contacts professionally.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Language Skills: Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications
