What You'll Do

As a Technical Editor at arenaflex, you'll be instrumental in ensuring that our technical documentation exceeds the expectations of developers worldwide. Your work will directly impact how developers learn, implement, and succeed with arenaflex cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Content Excellence: Support content creators by providing insights into appropriate format, suitable audience, and best utilization of language. You'll serve as a subject matter expert in technical writing conventions and editorial best practices.
• Developer Advocacy: Advocate for our users by ensuring accurate, consistent, and reliable content that addresses real client needs. You'll be the voice of the developer, ensuring our documentation solves problems effectively.
• Style Guide Development: Improve and update templates and style guides for efficient workflows. Help define and implement optimal editorial workflows for specific projects and content types.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Manage content processes for high-priority initiatives across teams and organizations. Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on content strategy and delivery timelines.
• Team Alignment: Collaborate with editors from different teams to establish common best practices and maintain functional alignment across all documentation efforts.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews of technical documentation for accuracy, clarity, consistency, and adherence to arenaflex style guidelines.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline editorial workflows and enhance content quality through automation, templates, and standardized processes.

Essential Qualifications

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Communication, Journalism, Computer Science, or a related field. Equivalent functional experience will also be considered.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical editing, technical writing, or content management. This experience should demonstrate your ability to handle complex technical content and work effectively with subject matter experts.
• Technical Documentation Expertise: Demonstrated experience producing or editing technical documentation for a developer audience. You should understand how developers consume and use documentation.
• Technical Proficiency: Experience with Markdown and other markup languages used in technical documentation. Familiarity with version control systems (such as Git) is a plus.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional attention to detail with strong written and verbal communication skills. You must be able to convey complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
