Position Summary
The Associate Sales Analytics Consultant plays a critical role in advancing arenaflex's mission to connect people to what's essential in their lives through friendly, reliable, and low-cost air travel. This position is responsible for analyzing both internal and external travel data from our business customers to construct actionable insights for our Business Account Managers, Customer Success Consultants, and Corporate Travel Managers.
As an Associate Sales Analytics Consultant, you will be instrumental in supporting our internal partners in optimizing sales opportunities for business travel and illustrating the arenaflex Value Proposition to our valued customers. You will serve as a bridge between complex data and strategic decision-making, transforming raw information into clear, actionable recommendations that drive business growth.
This role requires a professional who is not only skilled in data analysis and technical manipulation but also possesses exceptional communication abilities. You will be expected to think strategically, anticipate market trends, and proactively identify opportunities that will propel arenaflex's business forward. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple stakeholders, and delivering insights that influence key business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
As an integral member of our sales analytics team, you will be responsible for:
- Customer Insights & Opportunity Identification: Deliver comprehensive customer insights and identify new business opportunities through analysis of internal data, customer information, and Account Manager insights throughout the sales cycle to achieve revenue targets.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work seamlessly with Account Managers and the Customer Success Team to drive sales execution through account strategies, tactical approaches, contract proposals, and compelling presentations.
- Customer Engagement: Actively participate in customer meetings to identify and listen to customer needs, present agreement proposals, and collaborate on opportunities and targets.
- Data Transformation: Transform raw data into easily understandable, presentable, and actionable findings to identify opportunities and ensure performance, sharing insights with Senior Leaders, sales team partners, customers, and other stakeholders.
- Technical Analysis: Utilize technical skills including SQL, Alteryx, and other data analysis tools along with business expertise to provide solutions to business requests and proactively identify new opportunities.
- Research & Trend Analysis: Provide research and analysis of market trends, and develop new processes, tools, and reports to help increase sales from corporate accounts and improve efficiency in the sales cycle.
- Customer Communication: Communicate effectively with customers by delivering insights, opportunities, Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), and Request for Proposal (RFP) responses.
- Custom Reporting: Develop tailored reports that meet business requirements and provide financial analysis to support corporate sales operational and customer activities.
- Data Management: Engage in the development, improvement, and quality control of data sets through conversations with internal and external partners, utilizing appropriate data management techniques including privacy requirements.
- Additional Duties: May perform other job responsibilities as directed by leadership.
Required Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Experience: Intermediate-level experience with proven and specialized expertise in:
- Sales analysis and the transportation industry
- Solving ambiguous problems and developing clear action plans
- Working with large datasets
- Independently translating raw data into actionable insights
- Influencing stakeholders to drive change
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in SQL for managing data and drawing insights from large datasets
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with data visualization tools
- Knowledge of programming languages for data analysis
- Knowledge Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of mathematics, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, economics, and their applications
- Understanding of principles and methods for moving people or items by air, rail, sea, or road, including relative costs and benefits
- Knowledge of principles and techniques for displaying, promoting, and selling products or services during the sales process

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
This position requires:
- Ability to perform work responsibilities from a limited space work station, desk, or office area for extended periods of time
- Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the needs of the job
- Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet job requirements
- Must maintain a well-groomed appearance according to company appearance requirements as defined in established guidelines

- Hourly Rate: $30-$40 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications
