Position Overview

As a Remote Software Engineer at arenaflex, you will be responsible for designing, developing, troubleshooting, and debugging complex software applications for enhancements and new products. You will work on complex concept designs throughout the entire development lifecycle, ensuring our systems remain robust, efficient, and scalable.

Key Responsibilities

• Software Development: Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs for product enhancements and new offerings. You'll create efficient, maintainable code that meets our high standards for quality and performance.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Diploma in Computer Technology, Engineering, or Information Systems, or an associated area. Equivalent formal training or work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
• Experience: Three to four (3-4) years of qualifying work experience in data generation or engineering environment. An advanced degree may offset some of the experience requirements.
• Cloud Platform Experience: Experience building end-to-end solutions on cloud systems such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Familiarity with cloud architecture patterns and best practices is essential.
• Version Control: Experience with source control tools like Git, including proficiency in ADO (Azure DevOps) or similar platforms.
• Backend Development: Strong experience in development using Java or Spring Boot frameworks. Ability to write interfaces including API JSON or SOAP and web services.
• Frontend Development: Experience in development using React JS or Angular JS for building responsive user interfaces.
• Database Skills: Comfort with database principles and experience writing SQL in relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Agile Methodology: Comfortable working with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment, with experience working with user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Problem-Solving: Willingness to research and discover new technologies, learn large technology stacks, and figure out solutions through deeper research and troubleshooting.
