About the Role
This is a 5-month contract position located in Overland Park, KS 66251. Initially, you will work on-site for training purposes to ensure you master our processes and systems. Once you've demonstrated consistent performance meeting our quality and production standards, you'll have the opportunity to work remotely up to two days per week. This hybrid approach offers the perfect balance between collaborative in-office work and flexible remote arrangements.
The Case Management group operates within our Legal and Emergency Response team and is responsible for analyzing and processing legal demands served upon arenaflex for historical customer information. These demands come from various sources, including law enforcement agencies, private attorneys, and pro se litigants. Your primary responsibility will be to review and analyze documents such as court orders, search warrants, subpoenas, and preservation letters, then apply standard practices and policies to properly name and route these documents for handling.
While most legal demands are routed to Case Management, you'll also assist in directing documents to Real Time Operations (RTO) and our Emergency Response Center (ERC) as needed. Both RTO and ERC handle real-time and emergent issues, making proper document handling absolutely critical to our operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Document Analysis: Review legal demands submitted by law enforcement, private attorneys, and pro se litigants, including court orders, search warrants, subpoenas, and preservation letters
- Document Classification: Apply standard practices and policies to properly name and categorize documents for appropriate handling and routing
- Code and Route: With minimal supervision, code legal demands for proper routing within the Legal and Emergency Response department
- Cross-Functional Support: Route documents to Real Time Operations (RTO) and Emergency Response Center (ERC) as needed based on the nature of the demand
- Quality Assurance: Maintain high accuracy standards while meeting production goals for document processing
- Confidentiality: Handle Sensitive Information as defined by the National Security Agreement (NSA) with the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism
- Content Awareness: Review documents that may contain graphic photographs or sensitive wording, demonstrating professionalism and emotional resilience
- Additional Duties: Perform other projects and tasks as assigned by management
Essential Qualifications
- Typing Proficiency: Minimum typing speed of 45 words per minute
- 10-Key Skills: Minimum of 5,000 keystrokes per hour on the 10-key pad
- Experience: At least 7 years of relevant experience in data entry, document processing, or a related field
- Computer Literacy: Strong proficiency with computer systems and software applications
- Legal Document Knowledge: Some formal training or experience in reading and interpreting legal demands is preferred, though on-the-job training will be provided
- Documentation: Must include a screenshot or download of completed 10-key and regular typing test results with resume attachment
- Citizenship: Proof of US citizenship (US birth certificate or US passport) required upon start date
Required Typing Tests
All candidates must complete and provide documentation for the following typing assessments:
- 10-key test screenshot results (minimum 5,000 keystrokes per hour)
- 1-minute typing test screenshot results (minimum 45 WPM)
