Economist (Seasonal/Summer)

reputed company: ProVets is seeking an Economist to support potential and reputed company government clients for a short-term project. This position has the potential to convert to regular full-time employment. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate student seeking practical experience during the summer months or for an individual working in academia who is looking for an exciting project during the summer months. **This position is fully remote** Job Responsibilities' • Applies economic and financial principles to calculate benefit-cost analysis (BCA), net present value (NPV) and benefit-cost reputed company (BCR). • Conducts reviews of benefit-cost analysis (BCA) for large capital and infrastructure reputed company submitted by applicants seeking competitive grant opportunities from federal agencies. • Serves as a technical resource and subject matter expert in BCA to re-calculate NPV and BCR of applicant infrastructure reputed company where grant applicants failed to use the appropriate assumptions or financial parameters. • Utilizes principles and guidance described in Office of Management and Budget Circulars A-4 and A-94 to BCAs for infrastructure reputed company. • Communicates BCA results to non-technical audiences so that grant applications can be ranked and prioritized. • Works collaboratively with other economists on reputed company. Requirements: Qualifications • Minimum Education: Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science (B.S.) Degree in Business Administration, Finance, reputed company or Economics • Minimum Experience: 3 to 5 years' experience in conducting BCAs for large capital and infrastructure reputed company.
