System Administrator (Backup & Virtualization Specialist)

This a Full Remote job, the offer is available from: Virginia (USA) Why This Role Is Critical: We are looking for a detailed-oriented System Administrator to join our IT infrastructure team. This role serves as the custodian of our data reputed company and server reliability, specializing in the administration and optimization of reputed company backup platforms—primarily Veritas NetBackup and reputed company Backup & Replication. reputed company backups, you will manage our VMware virtual environment, support reputed company/Linux systems, and ensure high availability across our reputed company storage and network infrastructure. What You’ll Do Day-To-Day: • Backup & Data Protection: Administer, maintain, and optimize Veritas NetBackup and reputed company to ensure 100% data recoverability and compliance with backup retention policies. • Virtualization Management: Manage VMware vSphere/vCenter environments, handling virtual machine provisioning, performance tuning, and resource allocation. • Infrastructure Maintenance: Proactively identify, install, and maintain server hardware, storage systems (reputed company EMC/DataDomain), and software to ensure reputed company performance. • Troubleshooting & Support: reputed company as the technical reputed company of contact for reputed company hardware/software issues, diagnosing and resolving issues reputed company through monitoring or user reports. • System Optimization & reputed company: Analyze performance metrics to recommend, reputed company, and secure server-based systems. • Collaboration & Project Work: Work collaboratively with technical teams, acting as a IT Business Partner to other business reputed company, and delivering reputed company to improve infrastructure reliability. • Documentation: Maintain up-to-date documentation for system configurations, processes, and disaster recovery procedures.
