Web Designer - Contract-to-Hire

Optic Marketing Group is looking for a Contract-to-Hire WordPress Web Designer. The ideal candidate will have an eagle eye for design details and strong conceptual skills. Candidate must have an intermediate understanding level of using WordPress. Desired Education Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree or Certificate equivalent - preferably in art, graphic design, web design, or related degree. Agency Experience preferred. Summary of Duties & Responsibilities • Design/ code monthly publications • Design/ code monthly E-newsletters • Website creation and maintenance, • Creation of new ads for our clients, • Web/email videos • Animated ads • Conceptual web design • Design/ update WordPress themes • UX/UI for Optic dashboard and additional future applications • Optic print collateral • Optic Trade Show Collateral • Social Media Collateral • Client social media collateral Primary Essential Functions The designer must have sharp details and strong conceptual skills. Candidate must have an intermediate understanding level of using WordPress. This role will produce the look and feel page layout/themes, and UI/UX functionality for Home Services websites in accordance with the individual client's overall brand. General Supporting Functions The designer may be asked to create: monthly publications, monthly e-newsletters, and websites including maintaining our current sites, new ads for our clients, web/email videos, programmatic and animated ads.
