Nonprofit Grant Writer & Fundraising Storyteller (Pitch Decks + Light Design)

We are The Giving Spirit, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals experingding homelessness, through direct outreach, essential resources and community-driven programs. We are looking for a freelance partner to help strengthen our fundraising efforts through compelling storytelling, grant writing, and donor-facing materials. WHAT YOU'LL DO: - Write and edit donor proposals, grant applications, letter of inquiry - Create polished pitch decks for donors, partners, and sponsorship opportunities - Support light content creation for social media campaigns tied to fundraising - Assist with improving website messaging, especially donor-facing pages The ideal candidate will have a strong background in non-profit fundraising and grant writing. Strong Story telling skills. The ability to design clean, professional pitch decks (Canva, Powerpoint, or Figma). As a bonus basic experience in supporting digital fundraising and donor funnels. And have the ability to work independently, be a self starter and take initiative, with flexibility as sometimes work requires a quick turnaround.
