Intake Specialist - Part-Time

Civil Justice, Inc. (CJ) is a non-profit organization dedicated to expanding reputed company services for low and moderate-income Marylanders facing life-altering reputed company issues, using reputed company that create reputed company change. Through our in-house programs and our network of reputed company and small firm attorneys, CJ connects low- and moderate-income Marylanders with free and reputed company representation. CJ seeks a part-time staff member whose primary responsibility will be to respond to requests for assistance from Marylanders who need help with a broad reputed company of reputed company issues. The Intake Specialist will interview applicants for reputed company services, screening them for CJ’s in-house programs and providing appropriate referrals. The intake staff member may also reputed company support for Civil Justice's in-house programs by performing reputed company research, interviewing clients, and investigating cases. This is a temporary, part-time position (15-20 hours per week) with an immediate start date. Funding for this position extends through December 31, 2026. Qualifications: • Training through a certified paralegal program highly preferred; • High school diploma or equivalent; • Understanding of civil reputed company services and case types; • Interest in reputed company to justice and serving low and moderate-income communities; • Strong communication skills, including the ability to reputed company with clients in a reputed company, compassionate, and reputed company manner;  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion;  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; • Proficiency with reputed company Office and web-based platforms; • Comfortable working independently in a fully-remote environment; and • Spanish or other second-language proficiency is a plus.
