As the primary point of contact for carriers and customers, you'll be responsible for addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining efficient workflow. If you're a strong communicator with excellent problem-solving skills, we encourage you to apply. **Key Responsibilities** • **Monitor and Track Shipments**: You'll be responsible for monitoring and tracking all active shipments to ensure on-time delivery and accurate status updates. This will involve working closely with our internal teams to ensure seamless operations and maintaining accurate records of all communication, updates, and issue resolutions. • **Booking and Posting Freight**: You'll be responsible for booking and posting next day freight and any recoveries needed, ensuring that our customers receive timely updates and solutions. • **Customer Communication**: You'll serve as the main point of contact for carriers, drivers, and customers during after-hours operations, providing professional communication and timely updates to resolve any issues or delays in transit. • **Collaboration and Teamwork**: You'll work closely with our day operations team to ensure a seamless transition and accurate handoff of information, maintaining open communication channels to ensure that our customers receive the best possible service. • **Problem-Solving and Escalation**: You'll proactively identify and resolve any issues or delays in transit, escalating as needed to ensure that our customers receive timely solutions. • **System Updates and Maintenance**: You'll update internal systems with accurate, real-time shipment details and status changes for our customers, ensuring that our systems are up-to-date and accurate. **Qualifications** • **Previous Experience**: While previous experience in transportation, logistics, or freight brokerage is a plus, we'll train you regardless.
