**Job Summary**
As a Customer Service Associate, you'll be the face of arenaflex, providing top-notch customer service to our customers. You'll be responsible for assisting customers with questions and recommendations, managing sales transactions, and maintaining the security of cash and company assets. You'll also be responsible for keeping the store well-stocked, receiving merchandise, and ensuring a positive, safe, and respectful environment for our customers, associates, and leaders.
**Key Responsibilities**
• Assist customers with questions and recommendations to ensure a positive shopping experience
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register, maintaining accuracy and efficiency
• Maintain the security of cash and protect company assets, adhering to arenaflex's security protocols
• Keep the store well-stocked, receiving merchandise, and recovering merchandise as needed
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for our customers, associates, and leaders
• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
**Skills and Experience**
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required
