**Job Summary**
As a Customer Service and Sales Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and sales support to our clients, while also assisting them in understanding their coverages and selecting the right products and services to meet their personal needs. You will be working from home, and we are looking for individuals who are self-disciplined, tenacious, and have a passion for helping others.
**Responsibilities**
* Assist individuals in understanding their coverages and selecting the right products and services to meet their personal needs
* Provide full lifecycle customer service and sales support, including accepting inbound calls and making outbound calls to provide follow-up support
* Respond to customer inquiries with compassion and active listening, and select the best solution in an efficient manner
* Identify additional needs customers may have and help them to upgrade products or services
* Work closely with our team to develop and implement effective sales and customer service strategies
* Maintain and follow strict personal privacy for customer information
* Meet or exceed sales and customer service targets and metrics
**Requirements**
* High speed internet access ( >15 mbps)
* Aptitude, self-discipline, and tenacity to learn about what it takes to become a licensed insurance associate, including passing the state licensing exam
* Ability to maintain and follow strict personal privacy for customer information
* Strong customer service orientation
* High school diploma or equivalent is the minimum, and more education is better
* Handy with MS Windows and other computer applications
* Ability to work a varied schedule, including evening and weekend hours based on project needs
* Consistent demonstration of mental stability and ability to have regular, reliable, and predictable attendance
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Previous experience in customer service or sales
* Knowledge of insurance products and services
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
* Familiarity with MS Office and other computer applications
