Key Responsibilities

As a Pre-Licensed Customer Service Representative, you will be expected to demonstrate excellent decision-making skills and innovative thinking to resolve issues and respond to consumer concerns while adhering to company and departmental guidelines. Your primary responsibilities include:

  • Resolve complex consumer issues with professionalism and efficiency, ensuring satisfactory outcomes for all parties involved.
  • Advise first-level representatives on high-level issues, serving as a resource for more challenging customer situations.
  • Assist policyholders with billing questions and concerns, providing clear and accurate information about their accounts, premiums, and payment options.
  • Provide comprehensive support to policyholders regarding any policy changes they may request, including coverage adjustments, beneficiary updates, and policy cancellations.
  • Support policyholders' needs by providing personalized recommendations and making necessary adjustments to their insurance coverage.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all customer interactions in our desktop computer system.
  • Adhere to strict compliance guidelines and regulatory requirements while processing customer requests.
  • Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance product knowledge and customer service skills.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 months of customer service experience.
  • Must be over 18 years of age.
  • Ability to type at least 25 words per minute with accuracy.
  • High school graduate or equivalent GED credential.
  • Proven oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate information clearly and professionally.
  • Comfortable working with desktop computer systems and various software applications.
  • Strong logical problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
  • Excellent organization and work prioritization skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Availability to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Familiarity with Windows operating systems.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge:

  • 6 months or more of call center experience.
  • Previous experience in the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a related field.
  • Prior experience working from home in a remote capacity.

    • Internet service provider must have zero packet loss and ping under 50ms.
    • Proof of internet speed will be required before employment.
