Position Overview
As a Remote P&C Licensed Insurance Agent at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional service to our insurance clients. This position is responsible for handling inquiries from both customers and agents, addressing various types of property and casualty policies, and managing billing inquiries in an efficient, professional, and accurate manner. You will be the frontline representative of arenaflex, interacting with policyholders to resolve service concerns, document customer requests, and complete changes to policies that require a license.
The nature of this role involves both inbound and outbound communication, meaning you will be handling incoming calls from customers seeking assistance as well as reaching out to clients proactively. Key Responsibilities
As a valued member of the arenaflex team, you will be expected to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Provide outstanding support to clients by promptly answering inquiries, addressing concerns, and ensuring a positive customer experience throughout every interaction. You will serve as the face of arenaflex and play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for excellence.
- Insurance Product Sales: Market insurance products to potential customers through various channels, including phone conversations, email communications, and other digital platforms. Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell insurance products that meet clients' needs.
- Needs Assessment and Recommendations: Conduct thorough assessments of clients' insurance needs by asking targeted questions and listening actively to their responses. Recommend suitable coverage options that align with their risk profile and budget constraints.
- Policy Management: Process changes to existing policies as requested by customers, ensuring all modifications are accurately documented and comply with regulatory requirements. This includes updating coverage levels, adding or removing vehicles, adjusting deductibles, and processing address changes.
- Billing Inquiries: Handle billing-related questions and concerns, including explaining premium calculations, processing payments, setting up automatic payment plans, and resolving billing discrepancies.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate records of all customer interactions, including phone calls, emails, and policy changes. Ensure all documentation meets arenaflex's quality standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Conflict Resolution: Effectively resolve service concerns and complaints, demonstrating empathy and professionalism while working toward solutions that satisfy the customer and protect the company's interests.
- Compliance Adherence: Follow all federal, state, and local regulations governing insurance sales and servicing. Maintain current knowledge of industry changes, new products, and regulatory updates.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in ongoing training sessions, team meetings, and quality assurance programs to enhance your skills and contribute to process improvements within the organization.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Experience: A minimum of one year of proven experience in customer service or sales roles is required. Previous experience in the insurance industry is highly preferred and will be considered a significant advantage.
- Licensure: Must possess a valid Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance license. Candidates must be licensed to sell property and casualty insurance products in the jurisdiction where they will be operating.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong computer skills are essential, including proficiency in typing and the ability to multitask between multiple online applications simultaneously. Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software is a plus.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. You must be able to clearly explain complex insurance concepts to customers with varying levels of knowledge and expertise.
- Multitasking Abilities: The capacity to maintain multiple customer communications at the same time is critical. This includes managing several chat conversations, handling phone calls while navigating software systems, and documenting information accurately.
- Microsoft Office Proficiency: Working knowledge of Microsoft products, including Outlook, Excel, and file management systems, is required for this position.

Training and Development
At arenaflex, we invest heavily in the success of our employees. All new hires in this position will undergo a comprehensive training program designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in your role.
Initial Training Program: A seven-week training program will provide you with in-depth knowledge of our systems, products, and processes. Training sessions are conducted Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM EST. Upon successful completion of training, you will be ready to handle customer interactions with confidence and competence.
Nesting Period: Following initial training, you will enter a seven-week nesting period where you will handle real customer interactions under the supervision of experienced mentors. During this time, your schedule will be Tuesday and Wednesday off, with working hours from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM EST.
Ongoing Learning: Continuous learning is a cornerstone of our culture at arenaflex. Work Schedule and Flexibility
We understand that work-life balance is important, and we strive to offer flexible scheduling options to our team members.
Shift Options: Once you transition to production, you will have the opportunity to select from various shift options. Shifts typically start between 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM EST and are available seven days a week. Examples of available shift patterns include:
- 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM EST (Sunday and Wednesday off)
- 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM EST (Thursday and Friday off)
- 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM EST (Tuesday and Wednesday off)
- 5:30 PM - 2:00 AM EST (Wednesday and Thursday off)
Shift Bidding: While in production, shift changes typically occur through a bid process that considers both performance and employee preferences. Shift bids usually happen one to two times per year, giving you the opportunity to adjust your schedule as needed.
