Python Developer (Remote)

Role: Python Developer Location: Remote Role Overview: We are hiring a Python Developer to build and maintain the backend services and data pipelines that power Joveo's AI-driven hiring platform. You will write production Python at scale — from APIs to automation to ML-adjacent tooling — in a team that ships fast and thinks deeply. Key Responsibilities: • Develop robust Python services, APIs, and backend components • Build and maintain data processing pipelines and ETL workflows • Integrate third-party services and internal APIs using Python • Write unit and integration tests to ensure reliability and coverage • Optimize code for performance, scalability, and maintainability • Participate in architecture reviews and technical planning sessions Required Skills & Qualifications: • Strong proficiency in Python (3.x) and the modern Python ecosystem • Experience with frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask • Solid understanding of databases — SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) • Experience with task queues, async processing, or data pipeline tools • Ability to write clean, well-tested, production-ready code Equal Opportunity Employer: Joveo is an equal opportunity employer.
