**Job Summary**
As a Customer Service Representative in our Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy, you will be responsible for providing telephone support to patients receiving life-sustaining specialty drug therapy. Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Verifying and revivifying benefits for new patient medication orders and reorders
* Translating and entering new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system
* Communicating and collecting copay amounts from patients
* Obtaining authorizations from insurance companies and healthcare providers
* Working with internal teams to screen, identify, resolve, and defer orders with accounts receivable or clinical issues
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* One year of experience in a customer service role handling and resolving a high volume of complex customer needs over the phone
* One year of work experience with Windows-based applications, including Windows, Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email applications
* One year of computer keyboarding experience, skills, and aptitude
* Verifiable high school diploma or equivalent
**Preferred Qualifications**
While not required, we prefer candidates with:
* Healthcare work experience and familiarity with benefits, insurance, prescriptions, and medical terminology
* Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
**Training and Development**
As a new hire, you will participate in a comprehensive training program that will equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to succeed in this role. Our training program includes:
* Four weeks of training, with a PTO blackout period
* Training schedules from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM PST
* Post-training schedules from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM PST
**Compensation and Benefits**

* A pay range of $17.00 to $28.45 per hour
