**What You'll Do**
As a Senior Data Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
* Collaborating with source data application groups and product owners to design, implement, and maintain data analytics solutions that provide actionable insights for business decision-making.
* Developing and executing data migration and data engineering solutions using arenaflex's data lake storage, data factory, and cloud capabilities, as well as traditional data warehouse tools.
* Participating in the full lifecycle of data development, including planning, cloud design (infrastructure, security, and organization), ingestion, preparation, data visualization, testing, CICD pipelines, execution tuning, and deployment.
* Providing technical leadership and collaborating within a team environment, as well as working independently.
* Contributing to a DevOps team that owns and supports their product, ensuring seamless integration and deployment.
* Driving the improvement of coding standards, best practices, and security and compliance rules.
* Mentoring others on technical and domain-specific skills to foster a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration.
**All You'll Need for Success**
To excel in this role, you'll require:
* A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience and training.
* 3+ years of experience in software development, data engineering, and data analytics, with a focus on agile, DevOps, and cloud-based technologies.
* Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, and SQL, as well as experience with data platforms like Teradata, Cassandra, MongoDB, and SQL Server.
* Familiarity with arenaflex's data lake and cloud capabilities, including Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Stream Analytics.
* Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps, as well as cloud infrastructure management using Terraform.
* Strong understanding of data warehousing, data governance, and data security principles.
**Preferred Qualifications**
* 3+ years of experience in data engineering, data analytics, and cloud-based technologies.
* 3+ years of experience in full-stack development, ideally with a focus on Azure.
* 3+ years of experience in cloud development and data lake management, including Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Databricks.
* Experience with big data processing frameworks like Hadoop, Spark, and Flink.
* Familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, and QlikView.
* Experience with data governance and compliance frameworks like GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.
