**Experienced Sales and Customer Service Representative – Insurance Industry Expert**

**Job Summary**
As an experienced Sales and Customer Service Representative, you'll play a critical role in providing exceptional service to our customers, internal partners, and external stakeholders. You'll be responsible for responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing solutions that meet their needs. You'll also be expected to develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products and services, as well as our company values and policies.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Respond to customer interactions regarding billing, policy coverage, and policy changes through multiple channels, including phone, email, e-form, chat, and social media platforms
* Accept ownership of requests and provide service to ensure complete customer satisfaction
* Empower customers by taking risks and making exception decisions, while ensuring that decisions are appropriate for both the customer and the organization
* Assist with peer development through information and knowledge sharing
* Learn, embrace, and apply process improvement concepts in daily work, identifying opportunities for improvement and making recommendations for change
* Attend scheduled training classes and participate in development opportunities to further expand customer service skills
**Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements**
* Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions or support
* Basic knowledge and understanding of mathematics (arithmetic, averaging, percentages, etc.)
* Demonstrated experience in a customer service environment (face-to-face service or contact center; retail, insurance, hospitality, etc.)
* Ability to guide customers to resolution
* Unlicensed candidates must provide proof of successful completion of the AD Banker On-Line Pre-Licensing Course for employee's resident state prior to 8:00am CT the Wednesday before start date or the offer will be rescinded
* Licenses: Resident state licensing exam(s) for property and casualty producer licenses within 30 days of hire; Property and casualty producer licenses for all operating and/or service states must be obtained within 60 days of hire
**Travel Requirements**
* Up to 10% travel required, with the majority of time spent working from home (80% of the time, 4+ days per week) proximate to one of our office locations (within approximately 35-50 miles)

* Hourly compensation range: $23.00 - $30.76
* Pay rate type: Hourly
* Compensation may vary based on job level and geographic work location
