Principal Electrical Engineer, Renewable Energy – MV-HV

Job Description: • Reports to the Global Director of Solar & Storage Technical Advisory Services • Build and lead a team of Domain Engineers in technical review and advisement • Plan, define, develop, and execute MV/HV EE Engineering scopes • Collaborate with Engineering Leaders and Specialists for Client Technical Advisory Services • Take a leading technical role in BV Global Renewables – Technical Center of Excellence • Directly support client engagement, scoping and estimating work for proposals • Provide training and mentoring for US and global renewables teams • Ensure best-in-class, highest-quality client services and deliverables • Attend, present, and participate in industry conferences and panels Requirements: • Subject Matter Expert in Domain Engineering as applied to utility-scale solar and battery storage facilities • 10 years of demonstrated engineering leadership and management experience • 15 years of demonstrated technical advisory services experience in the US • Expert experience with applicable US Codes, Standards, and Practices • Expert experience identifying poor practices in solar and battery storage equipment and facilities • Comfort with direct client engagement • Excellent technical and non-technical communications skills • Strong organizational, planning, and management skills • An Electrical Engineering degree; advanced degree and/or PE registration a plus Benefits: • Industry-leading compensation • Performance bonus plan • Comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) with company match Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
