**What You'll Be Doing**
As a Customer Service Advocate, you'll be responsible for:
* **Providing Exceptional Service**: Working directly with members in a fast-paced inbound contact center to deliver outstanding experiences
* **Building Trust and Relationships**: Building trust and creating sustainable relationships through open and interactive communication
* **Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking**: Applying problem-solving and critical thinking skills to research and communicate solutions in a variety of situations
* **Handling Customer Concerns**: Effectively handling customer concerns by utilizing available resources to provide accurate information and ensure empathetic resolution
* **Confidentially Handling Policy Owner Information**: Confidentially handling policy owner information and ensuring compliance and communication standards are met
* **Collaborating with Internal Teams**: Collaborating with internal teams to ensure thorough and timely resolutions for all members
**Required Experience**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* **Minimum 2 Years Experience**: In a customer service-related position where there is a high value placed on the customer/member experience; insurance/call center experience preferred
* **Basic Mathematical Aptitude**: Demonstrated basic mathematical aptitude (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
* **Technical Aptitude**: Technical aptitude with experience navigating and operating multiple computer applications and telephone technologies desired
* **Basic Understanding of Life Insurance Company Operations**: Basic understanding and knowledge of life insurance company operations, policies, and procedures, and knowledge of various insurance products preferred
* **Completion of Insurance Industry or LOMA Coursework**: Completion of insurance industry or LOMA coursework preferred
* **High School Diploma**: Required; some college-level coursework preferred
* **Internet Requirements**: Must possess internet with a minimum speed of 25MB download and 5MB upload and be able to support a VPN
