**Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced Guest Services Representative to join our virtual team. As a key member of our Guest Services team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, leveraging cutting-edge technology, and driving our brand's growth. This is a part-time, contract-to-hire position with the possibility of moving to a more permanent schedule starting in January 2025.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Provide exceptional customer service to guests via phone, email, and chat, ensuring a 5-star experience and achieving Superhost status
* Utilize Guesty and/or HostAI to leverage AI for comprehensive guest messaging that resonates with our brand and travelers
* Screen potential guests and provide support for guests, resolving issues in Airbnb, VRBO, or Marriott
* Respond to guest inquiries and communicate and escalate issues to Management via Slack
* Achieve 5-star ratings and Superhost status by providing personalized support and resolving issues efficiently
* Write and respond to guest reviews on Airbnb, VRBO, or other platforms
* Report maintenance and damage issues to Operations via Operto Teams
* Report and submit damage claims to Guesty Shield for reimbursement
* Build, manage, and report in-house maintenance labor
* Working knowledge of business financials/accounting to assist the onboard of accounting systems
* Experience in 3rd party vendor relations for tertiary market management
**Essential Qualifications**
* 2+ years of experience in customer service, preferably in the hospitality industry
* Proficient in Guesty and/or HostAI, with a deep familiarity leveraging ChatGPT
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Fluency in English, with perfect grammar and spelling
* Availability and reliability in CST and Eastern United States time zones
* Ability to work a part-time schedule, with flexibility to work overnight shifts (optional)
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience working with Operto Teams and Guesty Shield
* Knowledge of business financials/accounting and experience with accounting systems
* Experience in 3rd party vendor relations for tertiary market management
* Familiarity with Marriott and VRBO platforms
