The arenaflex Portfolio Planning – Customer Insights Student Program offers a unique opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience and exposure across various facets of a strategic enterprise. Within the program, students will support research and insights across multiple brands – Jeep, Dodge, Chrysler, Ram, Fiat, Alfa – and functions – EV, autonomy, software. The Customer and Market Insights organization at arenaflex is a critical group within Portfolio Planning, responsible for inspiring new products, marketing, and experiences through a deep understanding of human needs, attitudes, and behaviors. Our work is focused on the U.S. market, but we work closely with regions around the world, leveraging a full toolbox of proven and innovative new methods and tools. **Job Summary** The Customer Insights student will participate in the evaluation of market trends, analysis of consumer opinion data, and competitive products/actions to identify arenaflex's next opportunity. The student will also support aspects within the research process, from helping to design, execute, and analyze consumer research, to transforming the results into insights, implications, and recommendations to drive strategic decisions. **Key Responsibilities** * Evaluate market trends and analyze consumer opinion data to identify arenaflex's next opportunity * Support research process, including designing, executing, and analyzing consumer research * Transform research results into insights, implications, and recommendations to drive strategic decisions * Collaborate with outside research vendors to gather data and insights * Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate research findings into business decisions * Develop and maintain knowledge of arenaflex's brands, products, and services * Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity **Essential Qualifications** * Pursuing a Bachelor's degree or Master's degree at an accredited university * Ability to work 24 hours per week, year-round * Strong interest in the automotive industry * Demonstrates critical thinking and problem-solving skills * Strong written and oral communication skills * Good interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a team environment * Proficient in using Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel **Preferred Qualifications** * Currently a Sophomore or Junior at an accredited university at the time of hire * Pursuing a degree in Business, Market Research, Social Sciences, Mathematics/Statistics, or related field * GPA of 3.0 or higher (based on a 4.0 scale) * Creative / resourceful information mining and data analytic skills * Advanced analytical skills * Strong interest in research and analysis * Experience with data visualization tools and techniques **Skills and Competencies** * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Excellent written and oral communication skills * Ability to work in a team environment * Proficient in using Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel * Strong critical thinking and creative skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** The arenaflex Portfolio Planning – Customer Insights Student Program offers a unique opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience and exposure across various facets of a strategic enterprise.
