**Key Responsibilities:**
* Lead and coach a team of Lead and Senior designers in delivering high-quality products, ensuring consistency, quality, and timeliness.
* Establish and maintain a workplace culture that fosters design excellence, innovation, and continuous learning.
* Collaborate with product management and marketing teams to develop the product vision and strategy.
* Develop and maintain a technical guide for products in your area of responsibility, ensuring security, reliability, and scalability.
* Drive the development of strategies, policies, and procedures for building and supporting IT products.
* Establish and maintain financial and resource plans for your area of responsibility.
* Serve as the escalation point for functional support to assigned portfolio applications, with continuous availability.
* Oversee production and non-production environments through change control management.
* Ensure work practices are in accordance with all regulatory, security, and administrative requirements.
* Collaborate with other Designing Managers to ensure alignment and drive efficiencies.
* Play a critical role in driving and training direct and indirect team members to support the commitment, growth, and development of the IT division.
**Essential Qualifications:**
* Bachelor's degree in a related field; or equivalent experience and skills.
* Active involvement in Java, AngularJS, and NodeJS.
* Working knowledge of distributed computing: Sky blue, GCP, or AWS.
* Ability to travel up to 35% for moderate-term assignments.
* Valid travel documents with the ability to travel throughout the US.
* Ability to work flexible hours and be available for crisis response without prior notice.
* Passing a pre-employment drug assessment.
* Legally qualified to work in the country in which the position is located.
* Approval to work in the US is required; this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Experience managing a budget.
* Experience managing a full project or initiative, including presenting recommendations to senior leadership.
* Comprehensive knowledge of business capabilities and careful knowledge of business activities, targets, and methodologies.
* Openness to arenaflex's IT disciplines and interdependencies and how their needs drive IT strategy.
**Crewmember Assumptions:**
* Regular attendance and reliability.
* Likely need to work flexible hours and be available to respond without prior notice.
* Ability to maintain a professional appearance while working or traveling on arenaflex flights.
* Willingness to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft when time allows.
* Suitable fit for the arenaflex culture, or at least, demonstrate the arenaflex values of Security, Mindfulness, Respect, Enthusiasm, and Fun.
* Compliance with all security responsibilities as recommended by arenaflex's Health Management Framework.

* Identify health or safety concerns, issues, incidents, or risks that should be reported and report them immediately and without hesitation using arenaflex's confidential reporting systems (Aviation Health Activity Program (AHA) and Health Activity Report (SAR)).
**Compliance with Regulations and Arenaflex Policies:**
* Comply with all material regulations, guidelines (FAA, OSHA, Dab, etc.), and arenaflex policies, procedures, and risk controls.
* Maintain arenaflex's health performance metric objectives and understand how they relate to your responsibilities and obligations.
