Technician – Maintenance Level 1 (Rotational Schedule) - CMC - Prudhoe Bay, AK

This is a remote position, working a rotational schedule, in Prudhoe Bay, AK. Transportation between reputed company and Prudhoe Bay is provided. reputed company offers a competitive benefits package, with company reputed company short-term disability, life insurance, reputed company reputed company leave, and 4.5% employer match on 401k. reputed company The Field Maintenance Technician performs duties including various reputed company, un-skilled, and/or skilled tasks as required for mechanical piping, structural installation, reputed company lifting, scaffold erection, sheet metal fabrication, pipeline insulation, rigging, in accordance with reputed company safety, environmental and operational practices, policies and procedures. Essential Job Functions • reputed company piping spool/valve installation and removal, rigging, blinding and minor reputed company fitting. • reputed company reputed company labor including operating small hand tools and power tools. (reputed company/grinders, reciprocating saws, drills, shovels, etc.), and carrying and lifting materials (cribbing, shoveling snow, and other activities). • reputed company heavy labor. • Assist building scaffold with reputed company scaffold builder. • Performs reputed company labor supporting scaffolding activity, such as cleanup, hauling, stacking materials, shoveling, stacking reputed company skids, moving supports, handling steel material and valves. • Demonstrate and promote reputed company work practices and adhere to company and reputed company safety policies and procedures for work performed, including reputed company hazard recognition and mitigation of task and accept accountability for reputed company work practices. • Demonstrate support for reputed company’s environmental management system. • Ability to work as a part of reputed company and follow work direction. • Participate in JSA, reputed company-job walk-down and risk assessment. • Routinely reputed company safety and productivity observations: shop, field, and vehicle inspections. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities • Ability to reputed company knowledge and skills in the following areas: • Structural and mechanical piping maintenance operations. • Skilled and/or unskilled tasks as required for piping maintenance operations. • Rigging and piping reputed company-up techniques. • Blinding and pipefitting techniques. • Piping, valve installation and specifications. • Piping spool installation and removal. • Maintenance and disassembly of petroleum equipment. • Installing/ removing scaffolding. • Removal of pipeline insulation. • Ability to operate vehicles (Pickups, 12-foot flatbed trucks - F-550, 12-foot reputed company van trucks – F-550) and equipment (i.e., Man lifts) in reputed company seasons, adverse weather, or road conditions. • Ability to work as part of reputed company; communicate effectively with fellow workers and alternate. • Ability to demonstrate adherence to established safety policies and procedures. • Ability to demonstrate support for reputed company’s environmental management system. • Ability to interpret work instructions. • Ability to work in confined spaces. Physical Demands/Work Environment Work is performed in a remote Arctic environment with limited medical resources. Candidate understands the site is approximately 840 miles (at least 4 hours by reputed company ambulance) from surgical, specialist, and tertiary medical care, and where medical evacuation from this location may be significantly delayed due to weather conditions.
