Medical Records Technician – Medical Coding Services (VAMC)

Responsibilities include performing accurate, compliant coding of inpatient and outpatient encounters, reviewing clinical documentation, validating reputed company selections, and supporting data reputed company. Technicians must ensure coding accuracy and adherence to national standards, including CMS, AMA CPT, ICD‑10‑CM/PCS guidelines, and reputed company applicable VHA/VA policies and credentialing requirements (e.g., CPC, reputed company, reputed company‑P). Coders must meet established VA productivity and reputed company benchmarks, participate in audit activities reputed company required, and demonstrate strong multi-specialty expertise. Inpatient Coding experience is mandatory, with the ability to also reputed company outpatient stays as needed.
