Your primary goal will be to create a WOW experience for our customers, making them feel valued, heard, and delighted. Here are some key responsibilities that come with this role: - **Wowing the Customer:** Ensure all crew members are providing exceptional customer service through personal contact with customers, responding to their needs, and resolving any issues promptly. - **Training and Development:** Train the crew on the B.E.S.T. customer service experience, ensuring that each guest has a fast, friendly check-out experience. Develop and implement training programs to enhance customer service skills and knowledge. - **Customer Service Score Goals:** Lead your assigned store to achieve and maintain customer service score goals provided by the District Manager. Analyze customer feedback and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction. - **Front End Operations:** Lead front-end operations, ensuring front-end merchandising (candy, soda, snacks) are set and meet or exceed brand standards. Ensure that all front-end equipment is in working order and associates are trained to include services where applicable. - **Store Maintenance:** Perform opening and closing procedures, maintain store cleanliness, recovery, and keep the store ready for customers at all times. Perform store maintenance, including but not limited to, taking out garbage, sweeping, cleaning bathrooms, and maintaining the stock room. - **Leadership and Collaboration:** Partner with the store manager to recruit, train, coach, develop, and supervise all crew members. Collaborate with the entire store leadership team in merchandising procedures and World Recovery. - **Communication and Adaptability:** Review all corporate communications and react accordingly. Stay up-to-date with company policies, procedures, and initiatives. **Essential Qualifications:** To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications: - **Education:** High School Graduate or equivalent. College experience preferred. - **Management Experience:** Minimum 2 years of management experience in a retail environment. - **Communication Skills:** Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - **Problem-Solving:** Ability to multi-task, think creatively, and maintain composure under pressure. - **Physical Demands:** Frequently operate cash register, move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs, and place/remove merchandise up to a height of 5-10 feet. Frequently ascend/descend ladders to retrieve and put away stock.
