**Experienced Customer Service and Support Representative – Exterior Building Products Distribution**

**Position Summary**
As a Customer Service and Support Representative, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service through a variety of channels, including face-to-face interactions, phone calls, and email correspondence. You'll work closely with our customers to understand their unique needs and preferences, and provide tailored solutions that meet their expectations. This role is a critical part of our Supply Center team, and you'll play a key role in helping us achieve our business goals and objectives.
**Key Accountabilities**
* Deliver Customer Service by responding to customer needs thoroughly in a timely manner with accuracy and detail
* Develop and maintain a high level of product knowledge
* Field and resolve customer issues and questions
* Perform inside sales duties as needed
* Utilize consultative selling skills
* Establish, develop, and service new customer accounts
* Provide quotes to customers and process customer orders
* Schedule product deliveries, and communicate deliveries to the customer
* Order inventory for replenishment
* Operate in a safe manner and maintain a safe work environment
* Support Supply Center Team in attaining the overall goals and objectives of the business unit
* Accurate order entry
* Follow and execute any additional direction given by Branch Manager that will assist in obtaining overall goals and objectives of the organization
* Other duties as necessary
**Required Education, Experience & Skills**
* Ability to multi-task and make business decisions in a constantly changing, fast-paced environment

* Self-motivated and enthusiastic with a positive attitude

* Organized and detailed-oriented
* Excellent communication skills – written, oral, and listening
* Ability to learn and embrace new technology
**Preferred Education, Experience & Skills**
* College degree preferred
* Preferably 2+ years' experience in a retail/wholesale environment with a demonstrated success working with customers
* Microsoft Excel, Office, and Outlook experience
* General knowledge of the building industry preferred but not required
**Physical Requirements**
* Frequent standing, walking, bending, talking, and listening
* Location-specific lifting requirements based on what the supply center requires
**Work Environment**
* The atmosphere is that of a warehouse environment and office space
* This position will primarily work in a facility where forklifts are present
* Employees must wear Personal Protective Equipment that is issued for the branch location
* Temperature can range from extreme cold to extreme heat
* Frequent use of company communication devices is required, such as a computer, cell phone, and printer

* The New Year's Eve Holiday may be observed in the current or subsequent year depending on the day it falls
* Individual departments or functions that need to deviate from the above schedule due to operating requirements will do so on an as-needed basis
* Employees who are subject to a Collective Bargaining Agreement will follow the holiday schedule provided in the CBA
* Other compensation may include, but is not limited to, bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation that would be offered to the hired applicant in addition to their established salary range or wage scale. Position-dependent
* The stated benefits are for full-time positions working 30+ hours a week. Part-time positions may be eligible for limited benefits
