**Responsibilities**
As a Part Time Customer Care Associate, you will be responsible for:
* Ensuring that sales are captured by responding to customers and entering orders accurately and efficiently in SAP.
* Ensuring customer inquiries are successfully resolved through the use of multiple customer support tools (including conducting research in SAP and/or contacting business units as appropriate).
* Maintaining world-class standards by successfully performing against department scorecards and metrics. Identify and seek to continuously exceed service requirements of business units by building and managing relationships with customers and contacts at each unit.
* Establishing and maintaining world-class customer relations by developing a rapport and actively listening to gain more information where necessary by providing consultative support and recommendations.
* Identifying and evaluating opportunities to increase customer retention, maintain customer confidence, and protect operations by keeping information confidential, and sustain satisfaction by suggesting alternatives to out of stock or limited quantity items and informing customers of available deals, etc.
* Conducting safe and responsible interactions with the public
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
* Enter orders accurately and efficiently in SAP.
* Conduct research in SAP and/or contact business units as necessary to resolve customer inquiries.
* Build and maintain relationships with customers and contacts at each business unit.
* Identify opportunities to increase customer retention and satisfaction.
* Provide consultative support and recommendations to customers.
* Maintain confidentiality and protect operations.
**Qualifications**
To be successful as a Part Time Customer Care Associate, you will need:
* High school diploma or equivalent required.
* Basic PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs.
* No previous experience required.
* Must be a results-oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as customer service skills.
* Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail, and meet deadlines.
* Utilize sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume, team environment.
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or equivalent training and work experience.
* 1-2 years previous experience in a customer service role.
* Experience in consumer products or distribution industry.
**Competencies**
* Accountable for meeting own targets, work is reviewed periodically.
* Problems encountered will be defined, repetitive, and routine with a solution readily available.
