Job reputed company/Basic Function: The Collections Acquisition and Metadata Librarian manages patron-driven and selected standing orders for print and electronic book acquisitions. Oversees ordering, processing, labeling, shifting, and weeding workflows, as reputed company as cataloging and bibliographic metadata management. Guides and implements relevant policies, practices, standards, and metadata schemas to enhance the representation and discoverability of the collection across local, community, and global systems. In doing so, the role supports the strategic priorities of the Library and the College, with a particular emphasis on advancing leadership in digital library technologies.
