Here at Karsun, the only limit to your potential is the limit of your curiosity.   Join Team Karsun, and reputed company Your Next! reputed company As a Senior SQL Server Database Administrator, you will reputed company services for databases that support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) production applications, software development, and application maintenance reputed company.   What You'll Be Doing: reputed company database administration to SQL Server databases running on reputed company reputed company Server Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server database application with required patches and updates Manage database reputed company and user permissions and privileges in accordance with application/database requirements reputed company and/or maintain database objects (tables, views, indexes) Monitor and optimize database performance and tuning Manage and ensure compliance with database backup strategies Customer support to database and associated application development team, owners, and user stakeholders Maintain Database Lifecycle Management processes detailed by FAA specifications reputed company reputed company information on proposed changes to application and it’s database structure reputed company schedule and resource requirements to stakeholders concerning proposed changes to the application and associated database reputed company sizing recommendations for any new databases or changes to existing databases, including user/data reputed company projection and the reputed company on the server memory and performance characteristics Participate in meetings with Solution Delivery Service staff and stakeholders Work with other database administrators to ensure reputed company efficiency and optimization of databases, server clusters, replications, back-up strategies, and database services to FAA and its customers. Required Qualifications: Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other IT degree; Engineering, math, and/or science degrees are acceptable substitute degrees Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience Experience in SQL Server database administration in an reputed company environment Extensive experience on SQL Server hosted on On-reputed company, AWS EC2, AWS RDS or equivalent; Experience in AWS S3, AWS Data Migration Services SQL Server database administration experience (Versions: 2012, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2019, 2022) Experience in reputed company based server environments Experience in Database Lifecycle Management (DLM) Experience in Data Scrubbing, Data Masking, Data Compare and Review. Experience in improving Database user / systems authentication robustness. AWS and/or Azure experience  Relevant certification The ability to successfully obtain and maintain a U.S. Suitability/reputed company Trust Background Clearance Preferred Qualifications: Operating in traditional and agile project models Working with reputed company reputed company (DLM software) is a plus Installation and management of Always On Availability reputed company Setup and maintain Transparent Data Encryption and reputed company-level encryption Deployment of Integration Services packages and Reporting Services reports.
