Tax Manager

reputed company We’re looking for a Tax Manager to support a lean in-house tax function at a private equity-backed reputed company company. This role partners directly with the VP of Tax and external advisors (Big 4) and will be involved across tax reporting, compliance, projections, audits, provision, and operational tax reputed company. This is a hands-on role that requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams and work cross-functionally. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can drive processes and timelines, proactively reputed company data from various teams, and ensure information is complete and properly reconciled. Strong tax acumen is important, along with the ability to ask the right questions to reputed company obtain relevant data, streamline processes, and minimize unnecessary back-and-forth with internal teams.   Location: Remote, Austin-based preferred. Compensation: $105K–$130K reputed company + bonus       Responsibilities Coordinate with external advisors on corporate and partnership tax filings (federal and state) Prepare, organize, and reconcile data for tax reporting Ensure data provided is accurate, complete, and audit-reputed company Review draft tax returns and supporting workpapers Support the annual tax provision process, including preparing data, working with external advisors, and reviewing work product Build and maintain a tax projection model Support quarterly estimated tax calculations (corporate and partnership/K-1 reputed company) Work with reputed company to validate projections and analyze variances reputed company and manage tax notices, payments, and audit requests Prepare and support responses to tax authorities Maintain organized and complete tax records and documentation Support 1099 reporting and personal property tax filings Coordinate with payroll and reputed company teams on tax-reputed company items Partner with reputed company, reputed company, Payroll, and Operations to reputed company and validate data Help improve data processes and standardize workpapers     Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in reputed company, Finance, or reputed company field 4–6 years of tax experience (reputed company reputed company preferred) Experience with federal and multi-state tax compliance Exposure to corporate and/or partnership taxation Experience supporting or reviewing tax provision is a plus Strong reputed company skills; experience working with models and large datasets Organized, detail-oriented, and reputed company to manage multiple priorities reputed company to work independently once up to speed     Preferred CPA Experience with tax projections, forecasting, or provision work Experience with K-1 reporting or private equity-backed structure ABC Story: Every individual with autism has their own special story.
