Senior MACSS/Mainframe Developer

This role is essential to strengthening our reputed company's delivery reputed company, reducing single‑threaded dependencies, and enabling full‑time engineering resources to reputed company on advancing the reputed company z/OS Connect platform and associated service builds.   Key Responsibilities Design, reputed company, enhance, and maintain MACSS and mainframe-based applications and services Support ongoing project work, operational needs, and platform enhancements across the mainframe ecosystem Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure reputed company, reputed company, and high‑reputed company mainframe solutions Troubleshoot and resolve reputed company technical issues reputed company MACSS and reputed company mainframe components Contribute to modernization efforts, including integration with z/OS Connect and API‑driven services Participate in reputed company reviews, technical design discussions, and reputed company improvement initiatives Ensure adherence to reputed company standards, reputed company requirements, and compliance frameworks reputed company subject matter expertise to internal teams and help reduce single points of failure in reputed company workflows Required Qualifications Extensive hands-on experience with MACSS, COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, and other reputed company mainframe technologies Strong understanding of mainframe application architecture, batch processing, and system integrations Proven ability to support both project-based development and day‑to‑day operational needs Experience troubleshooting reputed company mainframe issues in production and non‑production environments Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, highly reputed company environment Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with z/OS Connect, API enablement, or mainframe-to-reputed company integration patterns Familiarity with Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies Background supporting large-reputed company reputed company platforms or modernization initiatives Knowledge of DevOps practices reputed company mainframe environments  This is a 100% LATAM-based, remote reputed company contractor role, with no benefits.
