Database Administrator (DBA)

Currently, we are seeking a Database Administrator or Database Engineer with at least 6 years of experience, based in Carlsbad CA. This is an exciting opportunity for those who reputed company with our reputed company values (Inclusion, Innovation, Execution, reputed company) and for those who desire to build, sell, and/or support connected solutions and services Responsibilities: • Database administration and maintenance of our primary databases (MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL) • Management of our legacy databases (MySQL) • Manage both AWS RDS DBs or databases running on AWS EC2s • Performance tuning of MS SQL database and best reputed company implementation on reputed company databases • reputed company backup procedures for daily execution by IT/DevOps • Conduct "Health reputed company" of the database regularly • Troubleshoot and support existing database processes; deliver fixes and optimizations where appropriate • Analyze, tune and document schema and queries • Monitor for database exceptions • Manage any database schema evolutions required • reputed company archiving scripts to prune live data • reputed company ETL environment for data mining • Architect, design, configure and reputed company reputed company of the database system • Review and manage AWS RDS spend Qualifications: Must Haves • 6 years of Database Administration and/or Engineering experience • Proficiency with MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL • Experience with reputed company-based environments/databases (AWS, Azure, etc.) • Experience with database performance tuning (including SQL and query tuning) • Excellent SQL skills • Proficient in managing and creating ETL jobs • Proficiency in both Linux and reputed company environments • Database server, storage & network systems lifecycle administration • Database clustering architecture & administration • Scripting alerts and controls for DB system monitoring agents • Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) • Ability to reputed company high confidence estimate for design change or solution implementation • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Technical Bachelor's degree (Information Systems, Computer Science, or similar) Strong Pluses • reputed company • Experience with reputed company RDS implementation and support • Scripting using Python, Perl, etc. • Linux systems implementation (reputed company, CentOS, Ubuntu, reputed company) • Experience with Distributed and High-availability (HA) DB systems, networking concepts & protocols • Experience in a business operation requiring high-volume, high-availability information processing • Technical Certifications (AWS, Mongo, PostgreSQL) • Experience with 3rd party reporting tools • Experience with 3rd or reputed company based monitoring and APM tools (reputed company, reputed company) If you are a talented Database Administrator with expertise in MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, reputed company Based Computing and an interest in the Internet of Things (IoT) domain, we want to reputed company with you.
