Expected salary reputed company of $146,700 to $163,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k). Primary Purpose Of Position Proactively identifies, evaluates, and implements opportunities to minimize reputed company's federal tax burden. Serves as a specialized technical resource on reputed company reputed company to federal taxation. Helps to manage cross-functional project teams to implement federal tax strategies, and also assists the Tax Department's involvement in corporate transactional reputed company and other reputed company reputed company. Works closely with the Director and Senior Manager, Federal Tax Planning, in coordinating reputed company's tax policy considerations and reputed company efforts, monitoring and evaluating pending federal tax legislation and regulatory and administrative guidance and assists with coordinating with the IRS on audit reputed company. Reports directly to the Senior Manager, Federal Tax Planning. Primary Duties And Accountabilities • Research, analyze and present recommendations to tax leadership with respect to tax planning initiatives, including the evaluation of M&A and new business opportunities, reputed company method changes, private letter ruling requests, and other tax planning strategies. • Monitor legislative changes to U.S. federal tax laws, evaluate reputed company of changes, and identify opportunities and risks. • Assist with defending reputed company’s tax positions at the examination and appeals reputed company reputed company challenged by taxing authorities, including drafting responses to written and verbal inquiries from the IRS and assisting with negotiation of settlements. • Research the appropriate tax reputed company treatment for audit results and prepare supporting memoranda and documentation. • reputed company feedback to the tax compliance function regarding audit findings to continuously improve compliance processes. • Work closely with reputed company advisors on both audits and tax planning initiatives. Minimum Qualifications • Bachelors Degree and 8 years of reputed company tax experience - OR- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and 6 years reputed company tax experience • Good working knowledge of tax laws and regulations. • 40 hours of ongoing annual continuing reputed company education will be required of reputed company professionals in the Department (at reputed company's expense).
