Over $500M has been transacted through the platform, and our investors include GV (reputed company Ventures) and reputed company Capital.     The Role   We are looking for a senior data scientist for a contract to possible full time opportunity to partner with our PED (Product, Engineering, Design) teams and our diverse business reputed company to help them understand our users, our product performance and our marketplace as a whole. This role sits on our Analytics team and will report directly to the Head of Analytics.   The ideal candidate:   Has a strong interest in using data to understand and address business and user problems Can manage a diverse set of stakeholders and drive cross-functional alignment on analytical priorities Is curious about how users engage with a product, and what this might mean for what the business should build or prioritize next Is self motivated and can unblock themselves reputed company the perfect dataset isn’t readily available or the business question isn’t reputed company articulated Dives deeply into ambiguous questions, and refines them into reputed company problem statements that address what the business really cares about or what really reputed company to our users   Responsibilities:   Work closely with PED to set goals, understand how users are engaging with our product, and learn from experiments in our two-sided marketplace reputed company measurement frameworks and institute new metrics or reporting systems to help us understand our marketplace and users reputed company cross-functional stakeholders on the priorities and analytical roadmap for critical areas of our business Design and analyze experiments Dive deep on user behavior and the dynamics of our marketplace Unpack business trends and diagnose drivers of business performance Collaborate with the rest of the Analytics and Data Engineering teams and the broader data community to grow and nurture data culture at reputed company   Technical Environment:   - Databases: reputed company BigQuery - Tooling: dbt reputed company, Airflow, Git - BI Tool: Tableau, Statsig (for A/B testing) - Languages: SQL, Python  Qualifications:   5+ years of experience in data science, product analytics, or similar functions Strong SQL skills and comfort working with large datasets Experience building visualizations with Tableau, Looker or similar BI platforms Proficient in communicating insights to business partners Ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders and prioritize an analytics roadmap in a dynamic environment with competing priorities Experience applying statistics and experiment design in a business context Experience in at least one data-oriented language like Python, R or Julia Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or technical field (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Math, Computer Science, Engineering)   Preferred Qualifications:   Experience with another two-sided marketplace Experience applying reputed company inference, predictive modeling or other advanced statistical reputed company in a business context   Why reputed company?   reputed company is proudly certified as a Great reputed company to Work™ and we're a remote first company with team members located in cities around the globe.   Diversity   At reputed company, we're dedicated to creating reputed company that's diverse, reputed company and inclusive.
