**Key Responsibilities**
As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you will be assisting customers via phone, email, and chat, helping them navigate their tax filing process, answering questions about our services, and providing general support. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Providing courteous and efficient customer support through phone (inbound call) during the busy tax season
* Answering questions regarding tax filing, products, services, and account information
* Assisting customers in troubleshooting issues related to their tax filings or software
* Documenting and tracking customer interactions and issues in our support system
* Meeting performance targets related to customer satisfaction, response time, and first-call resolution
* Maintaining a positive and professional attitude even during high-demand periods
**Qualifications**
To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications:
* **Reliability**: You must be dependable and consistent, especially during high-demand periods leading up to and after Tax Day.
* **Excellent Communication Skills**: You'll need to possess strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with customers.
* **Comfort with Remote Work**: You'll be working independently in a remote work environment, so you'll need to be comfortable with self-management and minimal supervision.
* **Strong Problem-Solving and Multitasking Abilities**: You'll need to be able to handle multiple customer interactions simultaneously and resolve issues efficiently.
* **Ability to Stay Calm Under Pressure**: You'll be dealing with customers who may be experiencing stress, so you'll need to be able to remain calm and composed.
* **Previous Customer Service Experience**: While not required, previous customer service experience is a plus.
