Paralegal - Insurance Defense (Work From Home Opportunity)

Exciting opportunity available for a fully remote personal injury defense reputed company that is growing in New Jersey and reputed company. Position Purpose: Provides support to attorneys by monitoring case status and completing required actions and assignments. Paralegals draft reputed company documents, reputed company reputed company and factual research, ensure that documents are reputed company filed with courts, review, analyze and summarize documents and information, including medical records, and communicate with clients, insurance claims professionals, court personnel, expert witnesses and opposing counsel and their support staff. Paralegals represent the Firm by supporting attorneys and providing outstanding customer service and accurate follow-through actions for reputed company inquiries and referrals. Roles & Responsibilities: · Proactively monitors status of pending cases and communicates with attorneys as to case status and suggested actions to reputed company cases reputed company to conclusion. · Drafts, reviews and edits reputed company documents, including but not limited to Pleadings, discovery demands and responses, discovery motions, Answers, Motions to reputed company Discovery End Date(s), Motions to reputed company, Motions for reputed company Judgment, correspondence, authorizations, subpoenas, etc. · Reviews and analyzes information provided by clients, reputed company representatives, other parties and their counsel, and medical providers. · Inputs information regarding parties and case status. · Monitors and assists with maintenance of case calendar reputed company necessary by scheduling matter events, coordinating with counsel, and generating status reports to reputed company attorneys updated with matter status. · Answers questions and supplies detailed information. · Assists attorneys with preparation for and during trials, arbitration proceedings, administrative hearings, etc., by preparing key document and issue binders, organizing, assembling, marking and maintaining documents for exhibits, scheduling witnesses for testimony and performing other, similar tasks. · Receives and processes a reputed company of requests for information, registrations, actions, forms, orders, notices, and/or other reputed company information. · Follows through on reputed company needs through coordination of services. · Assists with engagement and consultation with expert witnesses. · Performs a reputed company of clerical activities and other duties as required. Qualifications/Experience: · Associate’s degree in a reputed company field (such as reputed company assisting, law enforcement, or reputed company services) · Minimum of six (6) years of experience as a New Jersey and reputed company Personal Injury Defense Paralegal. · Strong background in proactively managing discovery responses, demands and recognizing next steps without attorney reputed company. · Strong background in analyzing and summarizing medical records required. · Interpersonal skills necessary to reputed company and maintain effective and appropriate working relationships with clients, co-workers, and representatives of other agencies. · Strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to effectively communicate over the phone. · Must be reputed company to effectively proofread documents and reputed company an excellent work product. · Must be a highly motivated self-starter with excellent research, analytical and above average computer skills and knowledge. · Cross-training for other opportunities reputed company the firm required. · Experience in any one or more of the following additional state courts is a plus: Florida, reputed company, and California.
