As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll collaborate with clients in a considerate, professional, courteous, and expert manner. You'll be the face of arenaflex, providing top-notch service to our valued customers and ensuring their needs are met with a smile.
**What you'll do**
As a Customer Service Representative, your responsibilities will include:
* Issuing, reissuing, and refunding traveler tickets
* Booking, ticketing, and confirming flight reservations
* Rebooking travelers on oversold flights and during irregular operations
* Performing traveler check-in and front seat tasks (excluding curbside), correcting oversold seat tasks, and issuing upgrades
* Issuing vouchers and coordinating with project workers for traveler lodging facilities, meals, and transportation; coordinating refuel and refresh
* Performing traveler loading, including ticket lift and ticket lift/check
* Operating gate readers/scanners and related duties, including pre-boarding, observing/checking carry-on items, and departure line models
* Operating jetways/bridges for the purpose of boarding and deplaning travelers
* Making boarding and departure gate announcements
* Conveying domestic/international flight records
* Performing traveler service flight close-out methods
* Accepting, checking, and labeling travelers' baggage at destination points, full-service ticket counters, and premium ticket counters
* Maintaining a schedule of flight loading process
* Performing customer service hands-on training
* Processing and completing credit card baggage exchanges at stands in the ticket counter area and activation stations
* Assisting travelers with self-service kiosk check-in and baggage handling at ticket counters
* Managing lines at ticket counter stands and ticket counters
* Clearing/confirming international documents at booths in the ticket counter area and activation stations
* Accepting and activating travelers' self-labeled bags at activation stations
* Assisting clients requiring special assistance or in-station; assisting boarding, deplaning, and shipping non-ambulatory travelers, special assistance travelers, or unaccompanied minors
* Performing customer service work related to handling regional flights and contractor/ground handling arrangements or agreements
* Having regular and predictable attendance on site, including fulfilling any obligatory overtime requirements
* Answering and assisting during security and emergency situations
* Providing interfacing traveler door information
* Providing quality customer service in a professional manner and according to arenaflex's policies
* Adhering to organization policies, procedures, and performance guidelines
* Completing task-related stages of training
* Complying with applicable laws (e.g. DOT, FAA, TSA)
* Utilizing various internal resources/frameworks, including during customer interactions
* Wearing uniforms as required by organization policy

**Depending on your airport size, you may also perform the following:**
* Performing Traveler Activity Control capabilities, including air-to-ground communication and Peak capabilities
* Helping international travelers through customs/migration, including baggage re-check
* Conveying tickets, international flight reports, and customs/migration forms
**All you'll need for success**
* Least Capabilities:
+ Education and Previous Professional training
+ Bilingual language abilities required in certain areas
+ Relevant valid driver's license as required by local authorities
+ Should meet FAA criminal history verifications to qualify for unescorted access badges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable
+ Should be able to obtain proper airport power and US Customs security identification, if material
+ Completion of a pre-employment drug screen, comprehensive background check, or fingerprinting to meet organization and security requirements
+ Should be approved to work in the U.S.
* Favored Capabilities:
+ Training and Previous Professional training
+ Working knowledge of Sabre or other Traveler Service Framework
+ Past face-to-face Customer service experience
