**Experienced Lab Data Entry Specialist – Overnight Shift in arenaflex's Diagnostic Laboratory**

If you're passionate about healthcare and want to continue your career in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. **Job Summary:** As a Lab Data Entry Specialist in our diagnostic laboratory, you'll play a critical role in supporting our team of medical professionals by accurately processing and entering data into our laboratory information system. You'll work closely with our specimen processors, laboratory aides, and other team members to ensure seamless workflow and efficiency. If you're a detail-oriented individual with excellent typing skills and a passion for healthcare, we want to hear from you. **Responsibilities:** * Process incoming samples and input data into the computer system, creating labels for samples as needed * Handle enclosed samples with PPE, but do not directly touch open swabs or perform tests on the samples * Work with COVID-19 samples, as well as other samples such as blood, stool, urine, biopsies, and other human samples * Review, transcribe, and enter demographic and specimen data into the laboratory information system with 100% accuracy * Recognize specimen problems and refer to designated personnel * File Requisition Slips, glass slides, and paraffin blocks, assisting Laboratory Aide(s) as needed * Perform supply maintenance and clean-up duties to help workflow and efficiency **Additional Skills & Qualifications:** * Ability to type fast: 30 WPM * High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred * Previous experience in a laboratory setting or data entry role * Excellent attention to detail and accuracy * Strong communication and teamwork skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities * Familiarity with laboratory information systems and computer software **About arenaflex:** arenaflex connects passion with purpose by providing scalable talent solutions and services capabilities that drive value and results.
